I will look for the “6 Nations.” Glad there’s still activity. At this stage I’m not rooting for any one team although I did favor NZ
in the final. Don’t take me for one of those anti-French Americans. Liberte, Equalite, Fraternite. But they don’t have the Haka.
I’ve written twice to the L.A. Times Sports section pointing out their lack of Rugby coverage which was limited to one photograph
early on in the World Cup and only tiny blurbs at the bottom of their all sports announcement even below local high school football. This hurts. Thanks and happy Hogmanay. ps. I meant allusions (see above.)

Barri, A late starter but you have plenty of time to catch up with the wonders of rugby. Look out for the 6 Nations in the New Year, though make sure to support any team but England. This will ensure you remain popular among rugby supporters everywhere. Even England (at the moment).

I am a 67 year old American woman sans Cable t.v. who is not particularly into sports. And yet, through the Universal Sports Channel (4-4) I stumbled upon the Rugby World Cup and I am hooked! I even ventured out to Culver City near Los Angeles to see my first live game (L.A. vs Phoenix).
Just to say that I am a permanent fan. I have included illusions to Rugby in my first detective novel and will do the same, now working on my second. Currently, I am reading your book, Muddied Oafs, The Last Days of Rugger, and learning with pleasure. Thank you.
